I am trying to connect my merrill lynch 401K with Quicken

That is the “benefits” in the URL. Fidelity does the same thing with their NetBenefits site. When Intuit disabled the Merrill Lynch Retirement Group “financial institution” that blocked all of these 401K accounts. If Merrill Lynch still wants to support Web Connect/these 401K accounts Intuit needs to change this back.

Don't panic when the market falls. Having a ROTH is great for the obvious tax advantage. Mutual funds are okay in 401Ks and IRAs, but switch to ETFs and stock in your regular brokerage account.
